in several galleries – in the Emil Filla Gallery, in the Gallery
For Design, in the Small Gallery, and in the mobile gallery space
Move Gallery.

Armaturka, giving the impression of an industrial factory situated on an area of 1400 square meters, focuses on Czech and international visual arts and design. The FUD prepares its program in cooperation with students, alumni, and the non-profit organization People for Visual Art – Visual Art for People.

The theorist and curator of modern art, MgA. Tereza Nováková, provides visitors with regular tours and commentary on chosen works in the expositions. You can immediately have your fill of artistic experiences in several galleries – in the Emil Filla Gallery, in the Gallery For Design, in the Small Gallery, and in the mobile gallery space Move Gallery.

In addition to the visual dimensions, Armaturka has also established the unique and creative Incubator Předlice. The goal of this multidisciplinary platform is to provide students and alumni with practice and experience and at the same time to connect the academic world with the commercial and cultural sphere. The incubator program covers education in the realm of design experience, visual arts, counselling, but also covers artistic experience itself. Here students have a share in scientific and creative projects or in the daily operations of Armaturka.

Armaturka is open from Tuesdays to Fridays, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and then on Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The entrance fee is 50 crowns and students pay only 25 crowns. On Wednesdays entrance is free. Those interested can glance through, buy, or borrow books from FUD UJEP editions, from the Levitating Library and magazines about art.
